Women in or aspiring to a leadership role can face unique challenges.
At the Fanning Institute, we have developed a customized leadership program that addresses leadership specifically through a woman’s lens.
Sessions cover topics such as individual leadership styles, managing conflict, work-life balance, and multigenerational leadership. The curriculum provides women an opportunity to acknowledge, share, and discuss the unique challenges that women in positions of leadership can face.
This not only builds their personal leadership abilities; it develops a network of women leaders that can work together to strengthen their communities.
For example, the Fanning Institute has worked with the Lynda Brannen Williamson Foundation on a women’s leadership academy for the Statesboro area since 2015.
